Arrived at GUADEC without trouble. Estonian (Rep/RIP)Air sucks because they don’t have free lunch during the flight… and too bad that return flight is with the same company.

Arrived in Tallinn yesterday night, later had few beers and football match (Brazil vs Japan) in the pub with Tuljo, Kristian and Käts. 
Sometime near midnight had a pizza and after that another beer in another bar and another football match (Czech Rep. vs Australia) and off to sleep…
Morning came with no hangover, checked the bus times to reach the airport in time… So - walked to the bus stop and what I see - number 2 had been scraped off from the bus station sign. Weird… Quick phonecall to Tuljo, who took me to the airport by car. Later found out that due to the road repairs the bus had to drive another route. Beware the “the latest information is available from our website“.
The plane leaves from Tallinn in less than an hour now… Hopefully the Estonian (rep/RIP)Air doesn’t give me trouble.
Back in Helsinki since yesterday… back to Tallinn tomorrow… Tired too.

I finally managed to get the Van Jacobson slides for his “Network Channels” talk in Linux.conf.au 2006. I had already forgotten this talk when I last heard about it in January but good stuff sometimes comes back.. Anyway, it would have been a nice Google SoC idea…
And I also upgraded my WRT54G to the latest dd-wrt firmware. I was hoping it would brick the machine (so I could do some JTAG soldering and also explore the electronics stores in Helsinki are), but the new firmware works like charm… And looks the new web-interface looks good too
On the life side I had to do some biking in order to get my bicycle from Vaarala to Espoonlahti. I assume the ride was ~50 kilometers because I did some stupid pathfinding decisions. In total it took ~3 hours. My ass hurts a bit, but I assume it’s normal
